Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Around Sri Lanka ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our website, mobile applications, and related services.

Services Description

Around Sri Lanka provides travel and tourism services including but not limited to:

• Vehicle rentals (cars, scooters, vans)
• Tour packages and itineraries
• Accommodation bookings
• Transportation services
• Travel consultation and planning

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

Booking and Reservations

Eligibility

To make a booking, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license for vehicle rentals
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

Payment Terms

Payments must be made according to the following terms:

• A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
• Full payment must be received before service delivery
• We accept payment methods as specified during booking
• All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees unless otherwise stated

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Vehicle Rentals

• 48+ hours notice: Full refund
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours notice: No refund

Tour Packages

• 7+ days notice: Full refund minus administrative fees
• 3-7 days notice: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days notice: No refund

Vehicle Rental Terms

Driver Requirements

• Valid driver's license held for minimum 1 year
• International Driving Permit for foreign licenses
• Minimum age: 21 years for cars, 18 years for scooters
• Maximum age: 70 years (subject to medical clearance)

Insurance and Liability

All our vehicles are fully insured as required by Sri Lankan law. However, renters are responsible for:

• Any damage to the vehicle during rental period
• Traffic violations and fines
• Insurance excess/deductible in case of accidents
• Theft or loss of vehicle accessories

Prohibited Uses

Renters may not:

• Use vehicle for illegal activities
• Drive under influence of alcohol or drugs
• Sub-rent the vehicle to third parties
• Use vehicle for racing or off-road purposes
• Transport hazardous materials

User Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Use services only for lawful purposes
• Not interfere with or disrupt our services
• Respect the rights and privacy of other users

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and mobile applications, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Around Sri Lanka and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Around Sri Lanka shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from force majeure events
• Third-party actions or omissions
• User errors or negligence

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Around Sri Lanka, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any rights of another
• Your conduct in connection with our services

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
